Just today, I downloaded Jaunty Jackpole from www.ubuntu.com and I installed it on my Asus Eee 900HA. Everything works out of the box, except the volume seems pretty low. However, the netbook remix version seems to boot up in roughly 26 seconds.
I find it extremely practical that Ubuntu decided to update the Netbook Remix and add all the things it was missing. Although it still needs a lot of work, Netbook Remix is by far the best OS out there right now (including the Eeebuntu variants). Here is my desktop as of right now.

The FIFA Confederations Cup has officially started. Spain is the clear favorite, given they have the strongest squad, they are in form and they won the Euro 2008. Other probable teams are Brazil and Italy. I want Real Madrid to get David Villa into their squad by the end of the tournament. Hopefully we can see some nice plays in this tournament.
Another thing I want to discuss is Dropbox. Dropbox is a little App I found in the Apple.com website where you have 2GB of space where you can drag and drop your stuff in your computer and then access it from anywhere in the world. Very useful if you have too many USB drives, you send Emails to yourself and so on. You can also share folders. It’s very useful and I think you guys should try it out. It comes in Mac OS X, Linux & Windows versions.
The new MacBook Pro is my goal by the end of the year. The new MacBook Pro 13″ model with SD card reader and NVIDIA graphics so I can upload pictures from Ana’s camara and stuff. I will wait until Snow Leopard comes out or perhaps wait until the holiday season. Since Snow Leopard comes out on late September. That way the new MacBook Pros will be about 25% into their lifetime. 7hrs of battery life sounds hard to believe, but I’ll be more than happy if I’m able to squeeze out 5 hours of battery life while doing some wireless internet surfing.

In the last few months, I’ve been living with distant relatives here in Los Angeles. My life has been a total nightmare and I’ve struggled to get a job. After finally landing a job as a temp at Green Dot Corporation (The Prepaid Credit Card). I started looking for a place.
I finally found a place today in Hacienda Heights and I plan on moving on July 1st. There I’ll have fast internet and I’ll be able to play PS3 more often (that is if I get a TV, which I currently don’t have). I’ll be living with two young Asian professionals ladies who were cool enough to rent a room to a single guy like me.
I’ll take a 6 month lease since by I’ll need a decent place by December. That way Ana can move in with me after she graduates and finishes her degree. I will also be able to start studying for the LSAT and with high speed internet, I’ll be able to keep myself updated with the Open Source world. Until then kids!
After pondering the idea of purchasing a PS3 and trading in my xbox I finally did it and I must say that the outcome was wonderful.
I think Im going to trade in my xbox 360 for a PS3 today stay tuned
